Described once as “Periphery meets Disney” progressive metal outfit Vanitas have been making waves since their debut EP in 2022 with their unique blend of djent and symphonic elements that wouldn’t sound out of place in a Final Fantasy soundtrack; creating what they’ve coined ‘cinematic djent’. The Birmingham 5-piece have wasted no time establishing themselves in the UK music scene with dynamic live performances supporting acts in the past such as Monuments, Voyager, Galactic Empire & Destrage.

In 2024, Vanitas returned mature and dangerous with their sophomore EP ‘Chaos Theory’ racking up 58K+ streams with a combined 80K+ views on their official music videos and multiple positive reviews since its release in August 2024. Vanitas debuted “Chaos Theory” live with a sold-out hometown show at The Flapper, Birmingham and their debut UK tour including an appearance at 2023’s UK best micro-festival winners Burn it Down Festival alongside the likes of Wargasm, Lake Malice, Creeper, Caskets & more.
